Adéla Gjuričová is a Czech historian and political scientist, and has also been the director of the Institute for Contemporary History of the Czech Academy of Sciences since November 2023. She is interested in Czech political history, parliamentarism and psychiatry under socialism. She is the co-author of a number of books, including The Return of Parliament. Czechs and Slovaks in the Federal Assembly 1898-1992 (Návrat parlamentu. Češi a Slováci ve Federálním shromáždění 1898-1992) or Czech Lands in European History Volume Four: 1918-2004 (České země v evropských dějinách. Díl čtvrtý:1918-2004). She has also contributed to the book The City as a Laboratory of Change (Město jako laboratoř změny: mezioborové výzvy).
