Alice Koubová has been coordinating the AV21 Strategy research programme Resilient Society for the 21st Century at the Institute of Philosophy of the Czech Academy of Sciences since 2020 and leads the research team Systems of Resilience at the National Institute for Research on the Socioeconomic Impact of Diseases and Systemic Risks (SYRI). She is also Vice Dean for Science and Research at the Theatre Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts. Her work focuses on relational ethics, resilience, identity, and performative philosophy, which she often explores through methods of citizen science and participatory research in collaboration with Czech public institutions, namely those involved in culture. She is a recipient of the Otto Wichterle Prize, the Josef Hlávka Prize, the President of the Czech Academy of Sciences Prize and the Libellus Primus Prize.
