Eva Kušíková is a physician and anaesthesiologist. She graduated from the 3rd Medical Faculty of Charles University. She was employed at the Prague University Hospital Královské Vinohrady, and in 2014 returned to her native Banská Bystrica, where she started working at the 2nd Department of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine of the local University Hospital as the deputy head of the transplantation programme and also as the head of the central ICU. Since 2012, she has been going on Doctors Without Borders missions and has participated in six missions in Afghanistan, Iraq, Haiti and Slovakia.
