Isabel Val is an artist whose work explores nostalgia, grief and the invisible connections between past and present. Her practice is based on research, ritual and repetition and marked by a deep interest in analogue techniques, which Val believes provide a space for improvisation and error. She currently lives in Barcelona and is represented by the Mymuseum Gallery in Budapest.
