Juraj Lukáč is an ecologist and conservationist. He leads the association VLK, which is dedicated to the protection of forest systems. He has long been leading the "Do Nothing" campaign for no-touch protected areas, where space is left exclusively for natural processes. With his team, he achieved the declaration of the Roháčia reserve in the Cerova Highlands in central Slovakia in early 2019. Before that, he had already been responsible for the declaration of the private reserves Vlčia (Čergov) and Rysia (Strážovské vrchy). He studied cybernetics at the FEL CTU.
