Klára Votavová is a researcher at the EUROPEUM think tank, where she focuses on EU social policies and the social impact of current megatrends – decarbonisation and digitalisation. She studied European Studies at Masaryk University and Maastricht University in the Netherlands. She has completed several internships at EU institutions and worked for over four years in the Czech civil service, where she was involved in the preparations for the Czech EU Presidency in 2022. She has also been working as a reporter and commentator for Voxpot, Aktuálně and Deník N.
