Lukáš Likavčan is a philosopher focused on emerging technologies, ecology, and astronomy. He is a researcher at Antikythera program incubated by Berggruen Institute, a research fellow at University of Giessen's Panel on Planetary Thinking, and an affiliate researcher at NYU Shanghai. He is the author of Introduction to Comparative Planetology, in which he analyzes visual cultures of Earth imagery from the perspective of the geopolitics of the climate crisis; he compares different "figures" of the planet and assesses their geopolitical implications. Lukáš also offers his consultancy services to private companies, public institutions, and NGOs such as Waag Futurelab.
