Michal Pavlásek is a researcher at the Institute of Ethnology of the Czech Academy of Sciences (Department of Memory Studies), occasional reporter and documentarist. Recently, he has been interested in the intersection of critical migration studies and memory studies. He is the author and co-author of monographs, studies, films and reportage series on migration.
