Lecturer in the field of non-violent communication and the application of its principles in the pursuit of social transformation. Co-founder of Bay Area Nonviolent Communication, an organization that brings together a wide range of projects promoting these principles in an effort to create a world where the needs of all are met. In her 2015 book, Reweaving Our Human Fabric: Working Together to Create a Nonviolent Future, she offers a picture of a fairer future and, with special focus on the role of leadership, shows the pathways by which it can be achieved.
