Silvia Dobrodenková is a doctor of tropical medicine. Since graduating from Comenius University Medical School in 2002, she has worked on many international medical projects in Asia and Africa. She is currently working at the Travel Health Clinic in Bratislava. She is a member of the European Society of Tropical Medicine. She is dealing with long covid, i.e. the long term effects of having had Covid-19, and together with the international community of patients and health professionals, she’s trying to uncover the causes, pathogenesis and diagnosis of this disease and the therapeutic options for treating it  She is also spreading awareness about this disease. She is the co-founder of the association Long Covid Slovakia +.
