Zuzana Štefková is a curator, critic and art historian. She focuses mainly on contemporary art and its links to current political and social events and gender issues. She received her PhD in art history from the Faculty of Arts of Charles University with a dissertation on the gender aspects of physicality in Czech contemporary art. She works at the Institute of Art History at the Faculty of Arts of Charles University and the Department of Art History and Aesthetics at the Academy of Arts in Prague. She is a curator of Artwall Gallery, co-founder of the c2c Circle of Curators and Critics and a member of the Mothers Artlovers initiative.
