Resilience is a highly relevant concept today in times of multiple crises. Whether we're talking about a climate crisis, an economic crisis, a crisis of democracy or mental health, resilience is both a coveted quality and a phenomenon prompting analysis at every level of our destabilised reality. But what does it mean to be resilient in a world that demands change? And how can community strengthen the resilience of individuals, whole societies, institutions or ecosystems? The author and creator of the film Let's Connect Yesterday and the book Resilient Society. Between Powerlessness and Tyranny, addressed the question of resilience by meeting with a group of young adults from the dance community and prominent public actors and activists to gain an understanding of social resilience based on everyday realities through how they live, what they strive for, and what they believe is necessary for Czech society. Both projects will present and offer opportunities to engage in the ongoing social debate on this topic on the spot.
