Long Covid isn’t just a set of physical, mental and cognitive problems – it’s a global phenomenon that affects politics, economy and social life. It is estimated that up to 400 million people worldwide suffer from this often neglected disease. How do the long-term effects of Covid impact everyday life of those afflicted and what gaps in healthcare do they have to deal with? What other support from the system do they need? And why this hidden pandemic is one of the greatest challenges facing the current health system.
